The DeKalb Initiative for Children and Families Collaborative is pleased to present the interactive Teen Maze for DeKalb County youth, ages 12-19. This event will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Exchange Park, 2771 Columbia Drive, Decatur, GA 30034.
“It is important for communities to understand the vital role we all play in keeping Georgia’s children safe,” said DHS Commissioner Clyde Reese. “We must all do our part, whether it is through arranging an educational event in your community or encouraging conversations with neighbors on how to report or recognize abuse.”
Every 15 minutes, the Department receives a report of child abuse in Georgia. Understanding the prevalence of child abuse and how we can prevent it is an important step we can take now to shed light on this issue and prevent child abuse in our communities. Georgia Department of Human Services
