Our Purpose

The Strategy Teams are designed to:

• Strengthen outcomes for children, youth, and families across DeKalb County.
• Align community partners, schools, agencies, and families around shared goals.
• Identify gaps, opportunities, and effective solutions within each focus area.
• Support countywide efforts focused on literacy, on-time high school graduation, and family stability.
• Ensure that community-driven, evidence-based, and sustainable solutions remain at the center of our work.

How We Work Together

DICF believes that collective impact happens when organizations and individuals work together toward common goals. Strategy Team members contribute their expertise, lived experiences, and organizational perspectives while actively participating in planning, discussion, and decision-making. Together, members share resources, insights, and data to strengthen community outcomes and serve as ambassadors for the work within their own networks.

Our Strategy Teams

On-Time High School Graduation Strategy Team

Meeting virtually on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m., this team focuses on strengthening home-school partnerships, expanding support for students and families, and aligning community resources to ensure every young person graduates prepared for success in college, career, and life.

Literacy Strategy Team

Meeting virtually on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 12:00 p.m., this team works to expand literacy supports, increase family engagement, and coordinate community efforts to ensure every child develops a strong foundation for lifelong learning and academic achievement.

Family Stability Strategy Team

Meeting virtually on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m., this team focuses on connecting families to resources, strengthening support systems, and building coordinated community solutions that promote long-term stability and positive outcomes for children and families.
